Chrisean Rock has been behind bars in California since June while awaiting a transfer to Oklahoma. Arrest records in the latter state show that the transfer was completed on August 7 at 9:17 p.m. local time. As a result, a new mugshot of Chrisean Rock is going viral on social media.
As previously reported, Rock pulled up to a Los Angeles courthouse with Chrisean Jr. on June 10, intent on supporting her son’s father, Blueface, at a hearing. Blueface has been locked up since turning himself in to authorities in January for a probation violation.
Instead, court marshalls took Chrisean into custody for an Oklahoma felony fugitive warrant over charges pressed in 2022.
She’s now sitting behind bars in the Sooner State for “distribution of controlled substance, possession with intent, possession of CDS without a tax stamp,” per arrest records The Shade Room reviewed.
Additionally, The Shade Room exclusively reported in June that it was the Los Angeles Police Fugitives Department who bagged Rock in June. At the time of her arrest, the court denied her bail.
Her Oklahoma case aside, Chrisean Rock was also facing a felony charge for an assault in California. The court later reduced the charge to a misdemeanor on June 13 for “assault with a deadly weapon without a firearm,” likely connected to her reported attack on Tamar Braxton’s friend, James Wright Chanel.
She again appeared in court on June 14, and a judge sentenced her to 30 days in jail for the misdemeanor. The court ordered Rock to serve the time at the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, California.
Oklahoma was set to extradite her after she completed her California sentence, hence Chrisean Rock’s new booking and mugshot on August 7.
Earlier this week, XXL reported that Rock could face up to eight years in prison for the Oklahoma charges. Her next court appearance is not yet public information.
Like Chrisean, Blueface remains behind bars. He is still awaiting another court appearance to determine his sentencing and release date.
Meanwhile, his mother,Karlissa Saffold, recently spoke with The Shade Room about who has custody of Chrisean Rock Jr. while both hisparents remain imprisoned.
She revealed that the infant was in the custody of a woman chosen by his parents. However, she clarified that she offered her assistance with childcare if needed.
