Chrisean Rock has reacted after Timbaland used one of her gospel snippets and turned it into a song.
Earlier this month, a sitdown interview between Pastor Bryant and Rock was published via YouTube. As previously reported by The Shade Room, the hour-long conversation featured Rock speaking on various topics, such as her time behind bars, her decision to step away from “confusing” habits, and her newfound dedication to walking in purity.
Additionally, Rock shared her interest in moving away from “worldly music” and creating tunes under the genre of “hood gospel.”
Furthermore, Rock even shared a preview of how she intends for her new music to sound.
On Monday, September 30, Timbaland took to Instagram to share that he “came across” Rock’s recent sitdown. The producer explained that he was so inspired by Rock’s gospel snippet that he had an “idea” he needed to “get out.”
“So I took this video [and],” Timbaland told the camera before hitting play on his home studio.
Social media users reacted to Timbaland’s creation in The Shade Room’s comment section.
Additionally, Rock caught wind and took to her Instagram Story o repost The Shade Room’s clip with a brief caption.
“Gods Plan,” she wrote.
In subsequent posts on her Instagram Story, Rock told her fans to “stay tuned.”
Since her interview with Pastor Jamal Bryant, Rock has appeared to remain steadfast in her journey of walking in purity. As The Shade Room previously reported, last week, the mother of one took to Instagram to share a lengthy message about “embracing a new life.”
“Embracing a new life and walking in purity is a beautiful journey, one that reflects the transformative power of Gods love and grace, she wrote. As you continue to shine brightly in your purity, remember that its a reflection of Gods work within you, drawing you closer to Him and to the life He has envisioned for you…”
In addition, Rock shared a carousel of recent photos of herself and her and Blueface’s son, Chrisean Jesus Porter.
