Chrisean Rock is taking her music career to the next level, yall. Months after Timbaland had the internet shook with his viral mix to a snippet of her gospel song ‘Yahweh,’ the reality star has revealed that she will be sliding into the studio with the legendary producer.
The day prior, on Thursday, May 1, Chrisean Rock hopped on her Snapchat to spill the deets about her Miami trip. Rocking a laid-back beige tracksuit and dripping with chains around her neck, she let it be known that this wasnt no regular vacay. Between chilling on the beach and hitting up events, Rock had set her sights on meeting up with Timbaland, who resides out there.
Im on my way to Miami, Im going to the Olympics, she said. A little festivities, put my feet in the beach. Oh yeah, Im supposed to be meeting with Timbaland.
Rock isnt just dropping one track either, it seems. She teased that they got a whole tape to cook up.
Im not just going to stop in Miami and not pull up on Timbaland because we got a whole tape to finish, she added.
Timbaland wasnt playing no games when he hopped on Instagram on September 30 to share his latest creation. Fresh off hearing Chriseans gospel snippet from her Lets Be Clear podcast episode, he got to work in his studio. According to Timbo, he used an AI program to sample Rock’s vocals. Additionally, he posted a video vibing in his studio, saying, I came across this video with Chrisean Rock and Jamal [Bryant] and it was so touching[] I had this idea that I wanted to get out.
Rock came across Timbalands creation and wasted no time reacting in his comments. In a screenshot captured by @Bluerockteatv on X (formerly known as Twitter), she wrote, “It’s already a single u gotta pull up so we can constructively put it together.” Sis was clearly feeling the love and the perfect timing of it all.
