#ClapBackSeason is in full effect, honey! So just a few days after Will Smith was alleged to be gay by Alexis Arquette, transgender sibling of Dave and Patricia
Arquette, Sheree Fletcher, Will Smith’s first wife, offered her two cents on Arquette’s claims.
So basically Arquette had insinuated that Will was gay and that he and Sheree’s marriage failed because of Will’s infidelity. But Sheree remembers things a little differently and took to a Facebook video to make her opinion crystal clear!
“Alexis Arquette, lets just be clear, I dont know you and you dont know me. So for you to claim to have firsthand information as to why my marriage didnt work out is completely out of line and I got to check you. Not only is it out of line but its absolutely NOT true and I am offended My marriage didnt end over any infidelity. I didnt find Will in the bed with a man, and I didnt find Will in the bed with a woman. It just didnt happen! Will was straight in 1992 and hes straight in 2016.”
While she was addressing a rumor that we’re sure people have been whispering about for years, she addressed it completely. She explains the real reason why she and Will didn’t work out. She then addressed Arquette’s allegation that Will paid her (Sheree) to keep quiet about his homosexual relationship with producer Benny Medina.
Our marriage ended because we were so young I just didnt have the tools, we didnt have the tools to make it work. I left because I was unhappy, its really that simple. I left because I was unhappy. And Ive never had a gag order. Ive never been paid to be silent. I know Will has a lot of money but Will does not have enough money to take my voice from me, to deprive me of my story. That wouldnt happen.
Ms. Arquette, Sheree is not here for the scandal, okay?!
She continues,
“If I walked in on him as you say it happened. I dont think our relationship could be what it has been, maybe now as we get older, but there is absolutely no way. And I certainly would have told it because a woman scorned aint nothing nice.”
Although Will & Jada have not addressed the allegations, Sheree did a pretty swell job at defending her ex-hubby –and THAT’s what we call a polite clap back! You go girl!
