Claressa Shields isn’t letting shady comments stop her from flexing her fashion! On Monday (April 7), the champion boxer seemingly clapped back at folks by showing off her model walk in a jeans ‘fit. Amid putting the haters on notice, Claressa also shared a new selfie with her boo, Papoose!
As mentioned, Shields has been receiving mixed feedback on her outfit choices, especially amid her romance with Papoose. That feedback intensified after the champion debutednew hairstyles ahead of her 30th birthday in early March, including blonde tresses.
Early Monday, Claressa shared a series of photos and a video on her Instagram. She was wearing jeans paired with white, strappy heels. In one of the photos, Shields held her jean vest open, exposing a brown bra underneath. However, she wore the top buttoned up when she strutted down a hallway in the video. The boxer also accessorized her look with her signature diamond G.W.O.A.T chain and bamboo hoop earrings. The second part of her IG post caption was about her sense of fashion. Claressa wrote, “Putting That Sh*T On City to City.”

His estranged wife, Remy Ma, exposed their relationship in December on social media. Since then, they’ve been out and about, from a Hawaiian vacation to celebrating each other’s birthdays, kicking it courtside, and supporting each other’s careers.
As mentioned, Claressa also included Papoose in her footage, flexing her jean outfit. In the new selfie, the couple showed their pearly-whites, as he stood behind her. In the caption, she seemingly quoted the song ‘You The One’ by Lola Brooke.
“Baby You The One. He Gone Come Slide In the City Where Im From,” Claressa wrote. In her comment section, she added: “THE WAY YOU SHOW ME LOVE IM LIKE OOOOHHH OOOOO OOOOO @papoose”
Fashion aside, it was already an active week for Claressa on the internet! In the last few days, she has riled up social media users with baby and beef talks. First, she went viral for mentioning her desire to welcome a child in 2026. Before then though, the champion boxer is hoping to get in the ring with “a couple girls.” At the time, though, Claressa shut down speculations about being pregnant by Papoose.
