However, the 27-year-old has not confirmed or denied whether the song is about her six-month relationship with Rozay. According to her social media announcement about the breakup, they split in February.

“Ive never experienced ‘getting left,’ Im just not docile. I dont feel played, the sales on mackeybody.com are thriving and Im grateful,” Mackey wrote at the time.

What Cristina Mackey Said In Her New Song

Meanwhile, her melodic R&B track tells the story of a relationship gone bad and a man crawling back to salvage it. Meanwhile, Cristina is weighing whether to forgive the man and ultimately decides she can’t.

In one verse, chronicled by a post on The Shade Room, Cristina sings about her love not being about “money or clout.”

“I ain’t never leave the house for you / Now I really got it out for you. It was never ’bout the money or the clout with you / You know I was really down for you. Now you asking for forgiveness / I can’t show you no forgiveness.”

This isn’t Cristina’s first time on the mic. Multiple streaming platforms list several songs by Mackey going back as far as 2019, including a collab with The Game.

Meanwhile, Rick Ross Seems To Be Dating Again

As mentioned, she hasn’t spoken on whether the song is about Rick Ross and their time romance. During their dating period, Cristina went viral several times for defending their relationship and identifying it as deeper than any of his past relationships.

Meanwhile, Rick Ross hasn’t publicly addressed their split or his ex’s new song. Instead, the ‘Diced Pineapples’ rapper seemed to waste no time reentering the dating scene in the last couple of weeks.

On March 5, he was spotted courtside at a Miami Heat v. Detroit Pistons basketball game with a mystery brunette, one day before Cristina confirmed the split.
