Many people who knew both D4vd, also known as David Burke, have taken to social media to share their thoughts following his recent arrest in the death of Celeste Rivas Hernandez. Per CNN, grand jury subpoenas were issued earlier this year seeking testimony from three of D4vd’s relatives. The documents later became public after his mother, father, and brother reportedly appealed the subpoenas in Texas. A Texas judge ultimately ruled that the relatives must comply and testify in California, though it remains unclear whether they have done so.
Despite the appeals, it appears D4Vds brother, Caleb Burke, has now spoken out amid the singer’s recent arrest.
Throughout D4vds music career, fans showed love to the singer and often snapped photos with his younger brother Caleb. After news broke about D4vds alleged involvement in the Celeste Rivas case, commenters flooded Calebs page.
Comments like Rip Celeste and Why are yall so quiet about Celeste? appeared under his posts. On Thursday, a post from Caleb Burke began making rounds online. The message quickly caught the attention of social media users. In the post shared to his Instagram Story, Caleb wrote, All pedophiles and rapists should die. Period.
While D4vd still appears to follow his younger brother on Instagram, Caleb does not seem to follow him back.
Amid Caleb Burkes latest post, a video of him wearing his brother D4vds merch at a concert has surfaced online. The clip reportedly was filmed in June 2024 and shows Caleb walking backstage with a young woman during the concert. The woman is seen wearing a black hoodie and pink pants.
Since the womans face is not visible in the footage, many commenters flooded the post questioning whether the person seen alongside Caleb could be Celeste Rivas.
Folks stepped into The Shade Room Teens as they reacted to Caleb Burkes message. Some commended him for seemingly holding his brother accountable. Others questioned whether he knew about D4vds relationship with Celeste. That sparked debate, with many arguing that regardless of what Caleb knew, he should not be blamed for the singers actions.
