DaBaby Calls Physical Altercation With Brandon Bills “Self-Defense”

DaBaby revealed his version of what happened with Brandon Bills at a California bowling alley earlier this week. Viral footage from multiple angles show DaBaby and his crew collectively fight Brandon within slippery lanes. The incident is reportedly being investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department. Meanwhile, DaBaby told paparazzi on Friday night the altercation was “self-defense,” per TMZ.

The artist first ignored a question about a rematch with Brandon. Instead, he chose to pose for the press. By the second question, he was ready to answer.

“What happened over there with Brandon Bills,” the photographer asked.

“Self-defense,” DaBaby responded almost immediately. “You shouldn’t run around threatening people.”

Previous Threats

As previously reported, the rapper and his crew were involved in a physical brawl with DaniLeigh’s brother. Brandon has spoken against his niece’s father on several occasions. His public critiques began pouring in following the nasty, heated exchanges between Baby and Dani in November 2021. In one example, he threatened to fight DaBaby whenever the rapper visited the West Coast.

SO I WAS WAITING 2 MAKE SURE MY SISTER WAS SAFE AND SHE IS NOW,” Brandon wrote in the caption of his post. “@dababy COME CATCH THIS FADE BRUH SO I CAN BEAT YA A*S 4 BEING A PIECE OF S**T NEVER LIKED YOU F***ING CLOWN BETTER YET WE COULD DO ON LIVE SO THE WHOLE WORLD COULD SEE YOU GET YOUR A*S WHOOPED A.K.A DA SNITCH #Dabi**h

Bowling Alley Fight, A Ban & An Investigation

Well, Brandon’s words caught up to him. Videos from the crowded alley show DaBaby approach Brandon and swing the first punch.Brandon stumbles into the slippery bowling lanes from the impact. While he struggles to regain his balance, DaBaby and several members of his crew rush Brandon landing punches, kicks and body slams by the hair.

While the LAPD investigates the attack, the bowling alley where the fight went down already reached their conclusion. Corbin Bowl in Topanga, California banned the rapper from entering their establishment. When paps mentioned the ban, Baby told them he loves bowling. However, his answer took a different tone when asked about his next bowling spot.

“I had no business being there,” DaBaby responded.
