DaBaby Off Of The Hook For January 2021 Gun Case After L.A. County District Attorney Rejects The Case Due To Lack Of Evidence

Roommates, last January we reported that DaBaby was spotted being handcuffed by police while out shopping on Rodeo Drive. Documents stated while he and his team were out shopping, a security guard alleged that he saw something in DaBaby’s waistband that resembled a gun, leading him to call the police. Once the police arrived, they searched the vehicle of DaBaby and his team and they did find a firearm. However, because no one claimed that weapon, DaBaby was taken in by police based on the security guard’s claims.

According to TMZ, DaBaby is now off of the hook in the case after the D.A. rejected the case due to the lack of evidence.

DaBaby’s attorney commented on the case being dropped and said, “We’ve been 100% confident in Mr. Kirk’s innocence since the day of this incident and are appreciative that the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office has made a similar determination.”

However, although that case has been dropped, DaBaby is still not off of the hook for last month’s rumble with Brandon Bills, who is the brother of DaniLeigh. As previously reported, they got into a physical altercation while at a bowling alley, and the incident was captured on video, from different angles. Shortly after, it was reported that LAPD was investigating the incident.

Although DaBaby claims the incident was self-defense, he has been banned from the bowling alley and Brandon has sued for assault, battery, emotional distress, and negligence.”
