Day Three! Nalah Jackson Charged With Kidnapping, But Police Haven’t Located Her Or Kason Thomass

It’s been three days and three nights since Kason Thomass last saw his mother. His twin brother Kyair Thomass reunited with their family after police found him abandoned outside Dayton International Airport early Tuesday. Kason is still missing–along with his kidnapper Nalah Jackson.

Police believe he is in danger, Jackson has no known connections to the child or his parents.

On Tuesday, Columbus Police Chief Elaine Bryant pleaded with Jackson to return the five-month-old to any public place where someone could find him. Chief Bryant offered to pick up the child, no questions asked.

Still, nothing from Jackson. On Wednesday, police charged Nalah with two felony counts of kidnapping. But that hasn’t brought them any closer to locating Jackson or the Thomass child. As of Thursday,  Kason and the black 2010 Honda Accord Jackson stole, along with the twins remaining missing.

How Did Kason Thomass Go Missing?

Their mother, Wilhelmina Barnett, was pulling a double on Monday night, caring for her twin boys and earning some money as a Door Dash driver.

Barnett entered a Donatos on East 1st Avenue and North High Street in Columbus, Ohio, to pick up an order at about 9:45 p.m. At the time, Jackson was inside the pizza shop but promptly exited and proceeded to steal Barnett’s running car with the twins inside.

What Does Nalah Jackson Look Like And When Was She Last Seen?

Nalah Jackson is a 24-year-old Black woman with a darker complexion, standing five feet, seven inches tall, and 159 pounds. She has a low cut with black hair.

Jackson was last pictured wearing a shiny, black bubble coat with a navy blue top, long pants, and black sneakers with white soles.

She was last seen in Dayton, Ohio. The first time was at 11:45 p.m. on the night of the kidnapping inside a gas station in Huber Heights. She was driving the same stolen Honda Accord and asked the station employee for money.

It’s unclear if the twins were in the car during the stop. But Jackson spent at least 30 minutes inside the station bathroom, according to a present employee who told ABC6 the whole thing “seemed sketchy.” The employee did not see either of the children.

The second time she was captured on video was when she abandoned Kyair outside Dayton airport shortly after 4 a.m. Tuesday, per investigators.

The airport is about 70 miles and an hour’s drive from where the pizza shop parking lot where the twins were kidnapped. It neighbors Huber Heights, about a 15-minute drive from the middle of the city, per Google Maps.

What Does The Car Nalah Jackson Is Driving Look Like?

Jackson was last seen driving a black 2010 Honda Accord with:

  • a ripped temporary tag
  • a back bumper sticker that says Westside Toys
  • purple paint transferred to its left side from a crash prior to the kidnapping

How Can I Help Missing Baby Kason Thomass?
