Whew, chile! DDG is setting the record straight about all the drama over his viral comment on his “favorite ex.”
If you needed a lil’ refresher, let us catch you up real quick. DDG started trending online recently after his stream with Plaqueboymax, where he revealed his favorite past romance. Chile, social media wasted no time dragging the rapper for his comments. Folks called DDG out, saying it was disrespectful to Halle Bailey.
Now, he’s clapping back at the internet for going OFF about what he shared during the live. DDG hit up X (formerly Twitter) to set the record straight. He let everyone know that he does not consider someone he sees and talks to every day as his ex.

Social media users jumped into The Shade Room’s comment section again to share their thoughts on DDG’s latest statement. Some folks think he should’ve cleared things up during the stream with Plaqueboymax or at least mentioned Halle Bailey to avoid any mix-ups.

During a livestream, Plaqueboymax asked DDG about his past relationships and grilled him to name his favorite. Plaqueboy also told him that he could not mention Halle Bailey.
DDG responded, saying, “he hasn’t been in many relationships but his favorite was someone whose name starts with a “K.” See the viral clip below.
