Whew! Roomies, hold on! The internet has been left in shambles after a message posted on DDG’s Instagram account revealed an update on his relationship with Halle Bailey.
On Thursday, Oct. 3, A message was posted on DDG’s Instagram Story announcing that he and his girlfriend, Halle Bailey, have decided to part ways.
In the lengthy post, the rapper explained that they both found the decision difficult, but they agreed it was the best choice for each of them.
“After much reflections and heartfelt conversations, Halle and I have decided to go our separate ways. This decision was not easy, but we believe it’s the best path for the both of us. I cherished the time we spent together and the love we’ve shared,” the message read.
The messaged emphasized that they will still remain close friends despite the change.
“Despite the changes in our relationship, our love for each other remains deep and true. We are still best friends and adore each other. As we focus on our own individual journeys and our roles as co-parents, we cherish the bond we’ve built and the beautiful moments we’ve shared. As we navigate this transition, we ask for your understanding and support,” he continued.
The Roommates quickly shared their reactions to DDG and Halle Bailey’s alleged breakup in The Shade Room comment section. Many social media users expressed disbelief about the split and accused DDG of trolling and lying.

Halle Bailey and DDG quickly became one of the most talked-about celebrity couples ever since they went public with their relationship in January 2022, according to US Weekly.
The actress and YouTuber drew even more attention after welcoming their first child together. Following much speculation and rumors, the couple revealed the birth of their baby boy, Halo in January.
Halle and DDG recently became a trending topic on social media after attending Usher’s ‘Past Present Future’ tour in September.
Previously TSR reported that the couple sparked conversation online after DDG shared a clip from the concert where he stopped Usher from feeding Halle Bailey a cherry. The 26-year-old musician captioned the viral video, “Usher tried to give Halle a cherry in front of me…”
