DDG gave fans a lil’ update after folks started thinking he was crashing out over Halle Bailey, allegedly preventing him from seeing baby Halo. At this time, Halle still hasn’t addressed any of DDG’s claims.
For context, DDG aired out his co-parenting struggles with Halle during a recent stream. He claimed he hadn’t seen Halo in months. He even said he was allegedly kicked out one time when he tried to visit. But late Friday night (March 7), the rapper hopped on X (formerly Twitter) to let everyone know he’s good. “I promise yall I’m chillin. back to regular scheduled programming tmmw,” he wrote.
DDG’s whole rant about his co-parenting drama with Halle and not seeing Halo kicked off after he posted and later deleted a message on X. In the post, he claimed he has been fighting to see Halo for months. Been fighting to see my son for months now shoutout to all the Dads who try their best to be there. this s*** sucks.
The Shade Room grabbed clips from DDG’s recent stream, where he spilled that he’s been struggling to see Halo behind the scenes. Additionally, he claimed that he only gets quality time with him when things are “perfect” between him and Halle. But when they hit a rough patch, he doesn’t get to see Halo. The streamer also made it clear that his social media collabs with other women have nothing to do with this situation.
Now if I dont see my son, yall know I stream every day. Every day I dont see my son Im going to number it. I know shes going to let me see my son now, this the only way, he said.
DDG continued to keep it real while chopping it up with fans on his stream. He straight up said he’s been holding down Halle’s “golden image” for quite some time. He also mentioned that he’s not bothered by who she chooses to get involved with.
I dont give a f*** who she f****g, who she talk to, who her n***a is, who she filming movies with, I dont give a f***, I care about my son. Thats all I care about, literally. And when thats taken from me, she know thats the only way I get frustrated. Thats the only way she can get under my skin, because I dont care what she does. We havent been together,” he added.
Despite DDG’s claims about not seeing Halo, Halle recently shared adorable footage of him with her followers on X. The Shade Room caught the sweet of the footage of the toddler chillin’ with his mom. In the now-viral video, Halle posted on X, she wrote, Guys, Im crying he actually knows Ariel is me.
As soon as Halo noticed his mom on the TV screen while they were watching ‘The Little Mermaid,’ he couldn’t stop yelling out “Mama.”
