DDG Speaks On Where He Stands With Quavo

For context, DDG and Quavo both joined Kai Cenat’s 30-day livestream event. During one part of the stream, the camera caught a moment where the rappers sat next to each other as the group geared up to play a game. Some viewers thought their interaction seemed off and quickly speculated about possible tension between them.

Amid all the online chatter, DDG decided to clear the air about his relationship with Quavo after people claimed he was “pressed” by the former Migos member. In a video shared by TSR, he explained that they are “cool” and there’s no beef between them.

“Me and Quavo been cool y’all,” he says in the video.

The clip that raised questions showed Quavo saying that DDG was “too close to him” while they were sitting together. DDG clarified that Quavo was “obviously joking.” He added that people have different senses of humor.

“He was obviously joking. I feel like that’s just how n****s talk. People have different types of humor. But he was obviously playing, we cool. I don’t see why y’all think me and Quavo got beef off of this interaction. But I kinda just wanted to clear it because I don’t want nothing to look weird of the internet,” he continued.

Additionally, DDG addressed the footage that showed Quavo entering the room and walking right passed him. He explained that the reason they didn’t acknowledge each other at first was because Quavo greeted Kai Cenat first before anyone else.

“The only reason I didn’t say whaddup was because he walked right passed me and dapped Kai up. And I hate to be that dude that go out his way to dap somebody up. But me and Quavo been cool,” he said.
