Deb Antney Says Gucci Mane Appeared “Drugged Up” & Keyshia Ka’oir Wanted “Attention” In Recent Interview

On Tuesday, November 11, ‘The Breakfast Club’ released audio of Deb Antney sharing her thoughts on Gucci Mane and Keyshia Ka’oir’s recent interview on the show. In the audio clip, Antney explained that Gucci’s appearance on the show “just did not seem like him.”

“In a million years, you wouldn’t get to make me believe that he wasn’t drugged up or something wasn’t going on with him there,” she said. “I don’t feel she [Keyshia Ka’oir] should’ve came out nationally saying that that she said about her husband. It sounds like somebody that wants attention and that threw her husband out on the chopping block.”

Furthermore, Antney said that the couple’s appearance was not them advocating for mental health. Instead, she believes it was them “worrying about people trying to be on top.”

More On Gucci Mane & Keysha Ka’oir’s Interview & The Reactions

As The Shade Room previously reported, ‘The Breakfast Club’ released its sit-down interview with Gucci Mane and Keyshia Ka’oir in October. At the time, the pair spoke about Gucci’s schizophrenia diagnosis. Additionally, Ka’oir opened up about her “system” of managing her husband’s wellbeing and their business.

While Keyshia Ka’oir’s statements largely prompted applause from social media users, some appeared to disagree with her words about her husband and managing his diagnosis. Particularly, Nicki Minaj took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to throw shots at Ka’oir, saying she’s “there to keep Gucci sedated.”
