During the early morning hours of Thursday, August 21, Debbie Allen took to Instagram to share a reel with her more than 2.4 million followers. Furthermore, the footage featured various family photos of her and Rashad’s mom, Vivian Ayers, alongside the words:

Furthermore, Allen used Stevie Wonder’s ‘Golden Lady’ as background audio for the clip. Lastly, in the video’s caption, Allen shared additional words in remembrance of her mother. To note, Ayers reportedly lived until she was 102 years old.
