The wife of embattled social media relationship guru Derrick Jaxn is finding herself on the defense after choosing to stick by her husband following his own admission of infidelity.
His wife DaNaia Jackson has been criticized for sitting alongside Derrick in a now viral video where he came clean about cheating on her after initially denying that he had sexual relations with other women.
Derricks confession video has been a hot topic this week and has launched numerous jokes and memes.
Many people who watched Derrick and DaNaias videos mentioned how she looked like she was being held captive and criticized him for dressing nice while DaNaia seemed unprepared.
Even though DaNaia already took to her page to address the concerns, her hat/bonnet remained a topic of discussion and DaNaia decided to address the commentary about her appearance in another video she uploaded to her page Wednesday.
In the new video, DaNaia speaks about spiritual warfare and that she is not concerned about playing dress-up.
This is a spiritual warfare and if you are not prepared and you do not know what to do, you will drown and you will be a casualty in this war, DaNaia said while rocking her hat and army fatigues. I did not come here to play games and to play dress-up. I came here in my battle suit. I came here on the battleground covered in the blood of Jesus.
DaNaia then addressed her infamous bonnet and broke down her choice of clothing.
You see a bonnet, I see the helmet of salvation. You see an army green shirt. I see the breastplate of righteousness. I see the belt of truth and the sandals of peace, the sword of spirit, which is the word of God, and the shield of faith. And Ive come to the battleground covered in the blood of Jesus to proclaim victory over sin.
