DJ Mustard Announces He Tested Positive For COVID-19—“Send A Prayer Up”

Roommates, another celebrity has unfortunately tested positive for COVID-19—and this time it’s DJ Mustard. DJ Mustard shocked fans when he broke the news on social media that he contracted COVID-19, while also asking for prayers.

DJ Mustard, the multi-platinum selling producer, who recently got married to his long-time girlfriend Chanel Thierry, just announced that he has indeed tested positive for COVID-19. In a simple post on his Instagram stories, DJ Mustard wrote, “Tested positive for COVID. Send a prayer up for ya boy…”

He did not share any further details regarding his diagnosis or current condition. Mustard joins the ever-growing list of celebrities who have been diagnosed with COVID-19 and shared their condition publicly with their fans.

As we previously reported, DJ Mustard joins recent celebrities who’ve tested positive, including Jeremih and Ashanti. Jeremih was recently released from the hospital earlier this month after a scary battle with COVID-19 for six weeks, where he was on a ventilator in the intensive care unit. “I had a tube down my throat for about a week and a half. I was really like in a dream; I woke up two times and all I remember seeing is a white light.”

Meanwhile, Ashanti caused her highly-anticipated Verzuz battle with Keyshia Cole to be postponed after she announced on the day of the battle that she tested positive for COVID-19. As a result, the two ladies will now go head-to-head on January 9th.
