Earlier this month, Doja Cat left her fans shocked and saddened when she announced that she was planning to retire from musicbut after she recently posted new content on social media her fans thought she changed her mind, however thats definitely not the case. In an effort to clear up any assumptions, not only did Doja Cat confirm that she is still going on tour, but she also stated that her retirement is still happening.
Taking to Twitter, Doja Cat posted the following:
For those who are seeing me at the after hours tour, Im not bailing. But me not bailing doesnt mean my a isnt gonna disappear right after. I still got s I gotta do. and a lot of yall think cuz I post a fin picture it means Im not out. Pic doesnt = music GOOFY.
So yes that still means I got videos to film I got performances to do and I got content to drop so Im pooping it out and dippin. I aint gone yet.
Previously, Doja tweeted in the aftermath of her headlining set at Paraguays Asuncinico Festival was canceled due to flooding in the area. At the time she wrote, Its gone and I dont give a f**k anymore I f**kin quit I cant wait to f**king disappear and I dont need you to believe in me anymore. Everything is dead to me, music is dead, and Im a f**king fool for ever thinking I was made for this, this is a f**king nightmare unfollow me.
Additionally, she also said that she wont be taking photos with fans, stated she was disappointed in her performance during Lollapalooza Brazil, and got into a heated exchange with NBC Sports/Telemundo Sports production assistant Roberto Rojas.
