Doja Cat Stopped Her Recent Performance During Lollapalooza Argentina To Check On Fan In Distress

Doja Cat is making sure she does her part to ensure her fan’s safety! Last night during Lollapalooza Argentina, Doja took matters into her own hands and stopped her set according to Billboard. With a look of concern on her face, the ‘Kiss Me More’ singer paused her set headlining at the Hippodromo de San Isidro in Buenos Aires for almost five minutes when she noticed an audience member in distress! “Yo. Cut it,” Doja shouted into the mic.

“Wait, wait, wait. Wait, wait, wait. Somebody needs help over there. Is that right? Am I right? Somebody needs help,” she said. “I love you guys, I really do. We can’t have that happening,” she explained into the crowd. While focusing on the area in the crowd that signaled her she continued asking if the attendees were okay.

Doja made it clear to concertgoers that she wasn’t moving forward until she knew the distressed person was good. “I’m sorry, I can’t keep going if things aren’t good,” she stated. When it comes to paying attention to fans at musical events, several artists have stopped their sets to check on people in the audience, especially since last year’s Astroworld tragedy. In November, during a concert in Salt Lake City, SZA stopped her concert after she noticed a fan who had passed out.

In addition, Teyana Taylor also paused mid-song during her ‘Last Rose Petal’ tour to check on a fan in Los Angeles, California at The Novo. “Bring her up here. She okay?” Teyana addressed the crowd seemingly referencing the Astroworld incident. “I’m about to retire. You ain’t gonna sue me, baby. [I] want to make sure you’re good, baby.” Teyana then told security to seat the woman in front.” Roommates do you think artists should continue to check on fans during concerts and festivals?
