Donald Trump announced Wednesday morning that he is suspending all evictions and foreclosures until the end of April.
This move from the Department of Housing and Urban Development was reportedly put in place to provide relief from the coronavirus pandemic.
“The Department of Housing and Urban Development is providing immediate relief to renters and homeowners by suspending all foreclosures and evictions until the end of April,” Trump said during a White House conference.
This comes after countries like Italy cancel their residents’ mortgage payments due to the severeness of the coronavirus outbreak in their nation.
Donald Trump also recently waived the federal student loan interest indefinitely, due to the coronavirus.
We’re certainly hoping that this new standard will most definitely create a sense or relief for all of the families that are full of worry of what’s to come during this pandemic.
