Another day, another instance of Trump proving that he is literally the most incapable person to ever hold the office of President. His latest ridiculous statement surrounds the building of his proposed wall—but this time he said he’s building it in Colorado, which doesn’t even come close to bordering Mexico.
While attending the recent shale-energy conference in Pittsburgh earlier this week, Trump’s continuous struggles with basic geography were once again put on display. As he was discussing the border wall that he’s been promising for the last three and a half years to keep out immigrants, he said that an additional wall is being built in Colorado…a state that doesn’t border Mexico in the slightest.
Trump stated:
“[W]e’re building a wall on the border of New Mexico, and we’re building a wall in Colorado. We’re building a beautiful wall, a big one that really works, that you can’t get over, you can’t get under. And we’re building a wall in Texas. And we’re not building a wall in Kansas, but they get the benefit of the walls that we just mentioned.”
The most disturbing part of this is that Trump’s legion of supporters cheered on his inaccurate comments. After the video of his alarming error spread online, he used his Twitter fingers to offer an explanation:
“(Kiddingly) We’re building a Wall in Colorado”(then stated, “we’re not building a Wall in Kansas but they get the benefit of the Wall we’re building on the Border”) refered to people in the very packed auditorium, from Colorado & Kansas, getting the benefit of the Border Wall!”
Of course, he wasn’t kidding, but acknowledging his mistakes is something that Trump is incapable of.
Roommates, what are your thoughts on this?
