He already told us he only loves his BED and his MUM, so its no surprise that Drake’s mattress reportedly costs a whole $395,000. I know people whose whole houses cost less than that, let alone their mattress!
Drake gave us a sneak peak into his home in a recent Architectural Digest feature where they spotlighted his $100 million home. Drakes whole house is customized to his luxurious taste, and so is his bed.
“The bedroom is where I come to decompress from the world at the end of the night and where I open my eyes to seize the day,” Drake told AD. “The bed lets you float…”
Drakes bed was apparently created by Swedish luxury bed maker, Hastens. The company collaborated with Drakes luxury home designer, Ferris Rafauli, to create this masterpiece that now goes by the name Grand Vividus.
Hastens mattresses are apparently so expensive because theyre hand crafted from natural materials such as horse hair, wool, cotton, and flax. In addition, these beds are supposed to last between 50-100 years chile.
If thats not enough, Complex reports that the Hastens company sends out a team to customers home three to five times a year to flip and massage the mattressfor free.
In addition to that, the Grand Vividus took about 6 hours to make, as it weighs about half a ton.
If you too want a bed like Drakes, you may be in luck because the Hastens company has over 350 locations worldwide, and theyre set to launch the Grand Vividus for salewhether or not you may be able to afford it is another story.
