Influencer DreamDoll Bri passed away following a shooting on Sunday, July 5, in Miramar, Florida. The 21-year-old influencer, whose real name is Brianna Johnson, and two others were shot at approximately 5:30 a.m. while riding inside a green Lamborghini SUV. According to 7News, the Lamborghini traveled for a block on Sunshine Boulevard before crashing into a home off Southwest 27th Street.
Bri was inside the fluorescent green SUV with two others when someone inside a white BMW shot at their vehicle. The shooter shot into the vehicle before it sped off, and the Lamborghini hit a stop sign before crashing into a house, as reported by CBS News. Miramar Police Chief Delrish Moss also reportedly said all three inside the Lamborghini were shot.Johnson and the two males, per Local 10, were rushed to Memorial Regional Hospital in critical condition, but the influencer died from her injuries. Also, Chief Delrish Moss told TMZ and other outlets that it appears the Lamborghini SUV was targeted by the shooter. It’s unclear who the bullets were intended for and who was driving the SUV at the time.
A video shared by the IG account @954fastpitchtv appears to show Johnson at a gas station where a fight broke out before the shooting. The influencer did not appear to be involved in the fight, but the green SUV is also seen in the footage. The video led to speculation around whether the scuffle contributed to the fatal shooting. Chief Moss said that the scene was “chaotic.” MPD is continuing the investigation.
“Ill tell you, this is no way to wake up on a Sunday morning,” Moss told Local 10 News. “Its a chaotic scene, hearing multiple shots in the middle of the night, or in the wee hours of the morning, is always disturbing… At this point, we dont believe that there is a bigger picture with regard to the neighborhood being in danger, but certainly they targeted this particular car for some reason. Were trying to figure out why.”
Johnson also went by @_itgirlbri on TikTok, and she has more than 390,000 followers on the platform. She also has more than 85,000 followers on Instagram. The influencer went viral for her TikTok challenge ‘Bend Ova.’
