Dreezy recently reflected on how she handled the internet beef with Deiondra Sanders. And while she expressed some regret, she also emphasized that Deiondra came into the picture posing as Jacquees‘ friend, then suddenly got pregnant. So, in the rapper’s eyes, Sanders and the ‘You’ singer were creepin’ while they were in a relationship. Now, Deiondra is calling cap on the storytime and threatening to clapback over her character!
Fast-forward to now. Dreezy recently dropped her thoughts on the situation with Deiondra Sanders while chatting on the ‘Jay Hill Podcast.’ In an interview clip shared by The Shade Room, Dreezy denied that arguing online with Sanders was a “crash out” situation. Instead, she explained she’d been dating Jacquees for six years and believed Deiondra to be his friend before she popped out pregnant.
“…A girl was introduced to me by this guy during a birthday trip and next thing I know she was pregnant,” Dreezy said. “I don’t think that’s a crash out…I was reacting in real-time to being lied to.”
Dreezy added that despite the optics, she never made it about Deiondra Sanders, but about Jacquees. “One thing about me, it’s always the guy. Imma hold the guy accountable. But if you go online and you saying stuff about me, like Iget paid to talk sh*t. Like I can’t help it, I’m gon respond, imma defend myself…”
Regarding arguing online, Dreezy admitted that she reacted emotionally, but was also moving based on the energy she received. “But if I would have just kept it at the facts, I wasn’t wrong for feeling how I was feeling. It was a fact. Y’all was cheating behind my back, and I found out. It is what it is, but I didn’t have to feed into that because I knew what was going on with both parties…”
Ultimately, the rapper said nothing she had to say should’ve mattered after she separated herself from the situation. Dreezy also blamed herself for dating a cheater, but noted that she called out Deiondra Sanders and Jacquees “on principle.”
“…Don’t lie and tell me this your sister, and she playing like she yo friend and now y’all got me looking crazy on the internet…Now I know, like that’s how the game goes sometimes. I made a poor choice of the guy I was dating so it is what it is.”
For context, the public beef between the women started in February 2024. At the time, Deiondra Sanders posted about someonebeing so obsessed that they mailed panties to someone else’s house with their face on it.
Playing off her words, Dreezy exposed that Deiondra (who hadn’t announced it yet) was pregnant by Jacquees while he was begging her also to have his child. It was one month before Deiondra officially confirmed her pregnancy. The rapper added salt to her jabs by releasing screenshots of texts from Jacquees. In a few messages, he allegedly wrote: “Kids do not define a FAMILY. I WANT YOU DREEZY. IVE TOLD YOU TIME AFTER TIME CAN We HAVE A BABY U TOLD ME OUT YOUR MOUTH JACQUEES DONT EVER ASK ME [about] A BABY AGAIN SO LIKE WTF.”
Following the X spat, Dreezy doubled down on shading Deiondra Sanders by teasing the track, ‘B*tch Please.’ Though she later called it a “dope single” versus a “diss track,” the lyrics turned heads!Since then, there have been a few jabs, including in May 2024 around Mother’s Day. At the time, Dreezy implied that Jacquees was “stalking her,” but didn’t name-drop him. Additionally, she said, “Blocking clearly don’t work. A family clearly don’t work.”
As mentioned, Deiondra Sanders isn’t letting Dreezy’s storytime pop off without her input! After The Shade Room reposted the interview clip, Sanders slid into the comment section to clear the air. She denied ever meeting Dreezy or interacting with her. Additionally, she claimed she began dating Jacquees after he and Dreezy broke up.
“Never been introduced. Never shook hands. Didn’t even start dating him till she was locked up in jail and he told her what it is. I’m not speaking on this situation anymore but don’t play with my character. We know the truth. Y’all be blessed,” Deiondra Sanders wrote with a kissy face emoticon.
That said, Dreezy isn’t the only woman from Jacquees’ past with whom Deiondra has exchanged shade!Dej Loafbecame a subject on Sanders’ social media earlier this year after the rapper and Jacquees began promoting their latest collaboration project. Deiondra blamed Dej for causing distance in her engagement to Que in February. Sanders has also accused her of swerving efforts to become familiar or friendly with her, but getting too cozy with Que.
“If youre his real friend, then you should be happy and accept the person that he chooses to live his life with. Instead of, you dont even want to meet me. You dont address me by my nameall this kind of stuffyoure not a girls girl,” Deiondra said in April 2025.
In recent months, rumors have swirled about whether Que and Deiondra are still together. That’s partly because of his spicy moves with Dej Loaf on tour and her social media posts. Most recently, the co-parents celebrated their son Snow’s first birthday together.
