Roommates, it looks like Dwight Howard is ready to take Amy Lucianioff the dating scene for life. After Lil Scrappy claimed Amy and Dwight were married, she took to Instagram to clear the air. She also shared close-up footage of the matching diamond rings on their ring fingers. While she hasn’t explicitly said whether that’s her fianc or husband, it’s clear he’s her man, her man, her man, though!
As mentioned, Lil Scrappy was the first to spill the beans on the internet. Dwight Howard and Amy were boo’ed up in a nightclub and started cheesin’ when they saw Scrap filming. In the Instagram Stories post, Scrappy tagged them both and wrote, “…dne tied the niznyee.”
Amy Luciani addressed Scrappy’s post by sharing a carousel post of photos and videos with Dwight Howard. The footage shows them in different scenarios, from a store-run selfie to dancing in the mirror together. The first video in the slide is a close-up of Dwight holding Luciani’s hand and tinkering with her square diamond ring before putting his presumed silver wedding band next to it. His ring had diamonds all around it, too.
In the second video in her post, Amy shared a video of her man asking her if she’s prayed. Her caption spoke lovingly about him bringing her closer to God, and her excitement for their future.
“I was enjoying you so much out of the public eye but here we are. Thank you for bringing me back to the word. Anything I say or fuss about, first thing you say is ‘Did you pray about it?’ Then I realized I hadnt being praying much lately at all. Im just thankful, happy and ready for everything thats coming our way. I prayed reallllll deep on a Thursday not knowing 2 days later God would send me a Bible totin, tattood giant with the same heart as me. Thank you.”
Dwight Howard also commented on Amy’s post. He added three emojis: a lock and key, a red heart, and an infinity symbol.
It’s unclear how long they have been dating or additional details about their love story. However, this isn’t the first time the couple has been in a public setting together. According to VIBE, they recently attended the screening of ‘Den of Thieves 2’ in Atlanta. After Amy confirmed their relationship online, Dwight shared photos of them from the screening to his IG feed. His caption said, “Happy #BlackLove #PrayedForThis”
She also popped out with her man in Miami on December 6 for the CELSIUS Padel Classic 2024 (see photo below).Additionally, her IG post praising him includes a photo of them celebrating his birthday. He turned 39 on December 8.
For those who might not know, Dwight Howard has five children whom he welcomed with four different women between 2007 and 2013. He’s a dad to three sons, Braylon, Dwight, and David, and two daughters, Layla and Jayde. PEOPLE reports that most kids live with their mothers, but Dwight has primary custody of his youngest son, David, whose mother passed away in 2020. Needless to say, Dwight has been on, on the market.
His last public relationship was his engagement to Te’a Cooper, but they broke things off in 2021.According to Yahoo! Entertainment, he’s also been linked to adult film star Teanna Trump and controversial influencer Celina Powell.
It’s unclear if Amy has any kids of her own. However, she was previously in a relationship with vlogger Mazi Ga. The former couple used to create video content together but reportedly split in 2022.
Meanwhile, the internet is poppin’ off with reactions and burning questions, including regarding Dwight’s past sexual encounter with a man who later sued him for sexual assault for allegedly forcing him into a threesome. In August, the man dropped the lawsuit, per AP.
