A 15-Year-Old Girl Was Recently Electrocuted & Decapitated By Power Lines

As The Shade Room previously reported, in August, a 15-year-old Guatemalan girl named Dbora Rebeca Xi Artola made headlines. On August 1, Artola reportedly joined three of her friends on a rooftop. The group was reportedly dancing and taking photos when Artolo allegedly hit a “high-tension power cable.”

Subsequently, Artola was shocked and footage captured her body falling to the street below. Additionally, the 15-year-old was reportedly decapitated.

Ultimately, a GoFundMe campaign was launched to raise funds to launch a “legal process to make the people responsible” for the 15-year-old’s death “face justice.”

“The authorities in Guatemala have claimed that it was a negligence accident but multiple witness[es] disagree. Debora had to be pushed in order to reach the high voltage cables that severe her head and ended her life,” the campaign’s description read.

At this time, an update has not been publicly shared about the investigation into the tragic incident.
