Ellen Presents The “Running Man Challenge” Creators With $10,000 Scholarship

Quite often there is always a new internet trend that everyone and their mama is ready to try. The latest trend being the “The Running Man Challenge”, which consists of people doing the newest version of the running man to Ghost Town DJ’s classic hit, “My Boo”.
However, the creators of the challenge never really received the proper recognition…until now. Kevin Vincent and Jeremiah Hall appeared on the Ellen Show and talked about how they dance was created out of boredom while they were in class.

The dance took the internet by storm when University of Maryland athletes Jared Nickens and Jaylen Brantley shared their version online. “I woke up and these guys, (the Maryland basketball players) they did it,” said Vincent.

Feeling as if they were not properly credited for the challenge, Ellen awarded Vincent and Hall a $10,000 scholarship from Shutterfly. And Nickens and Brantley also received a gift from Ellen as NCAA prohibits its players from receiving cash prizes.
