She became the first African-American woman to make the U.S. Olympic long-track speed skating team after placing third in the 500- meter race during Fridays trials in Milwaukee, according to Yahoo sports.
Erins story is so amazing because sis has only been long-track speedskating for four months after switching over from inline skating competitions.
