Real Housewives of Atlanta alumFalynn Pinais a single woman again! After less than two years of dating, Falynn and Jaylan Banksannounced their split late last week in an Instagram post.
“It is with deep sadness in our hearts that we have decided to end our journey as a couple,” their statement said. “Though we love each other very much, we feel it is best to part ways. Our bond as friends and family will never be broken. We ask for privacy at this time.”
About a month ago, the formerly engaged couple announced another tragic development in their lives, a miscarriage. At the time, Falynn revealed their home was “filled with tears and broken hearts” over losing their second child, Jean Pina. Falynn did not specify how far along she was in her pregnancy at the time of their loss.
Pina and Banks already share a toddler daughter named Emma Pina, which they welcomed in November 2021. Emma is Jaylan’s first child and Falynn’s fourth. The former reality TV star already had three sons from previous relationships at the start of her relationship with Jaylan.
While Pina and Banks announced their split, Falynn’s ex-husband Simon Guobadiatook time to flex his newlywed bliss. Not even 48 hours after Falynn’s announcement, Simon shared a series of photos alongside his now-wife, Porsha Williams. Simon and Porsha got married in November, which included seven bridal wardrobe changes for their double ceremonies.
“The Guobadias STILL honeymooning. From Paris to Malta and now Costa Rica. Two weddings, 3 honeymoon locations. God is good,” he wrote on Instagram.
2021 was a messy year for Falynn, Simon, Jaylan, and Porsha. After Simon and Falynn seemingly agreed to split in late 2020, Simon proposed to Porsha in May 2021.
By June 2021, there was tea-spilling on both sides, including accusations of cheating from both ends. Simon was also the first to suggest Pina was pregnant with Jaylan’s child. However, sources close to the reality TV star denied his accusations, clarifying that Falynn’s romance with Banks began in early June 2021.
A few weeks after the source came forward, Falynn and Jaylan revealed they were expecting their first child together.
