A British woman who tried to kill her husband is probably wishing she would have stayed in school after being bust for one stupid mistake! 55-year-old Jacqueline Patrick must have been real fed up with her hubby too because she didn’t just try to kill him once, but twice!
According to the NY Post, Patrick tried to off her husband once back in October 2013 and then on Christmas Day but both times proved unsuccessful. She spiked his drink with antifreeze and then hoped to make it look like a suicide.
“His wife was informed who then told doctors she thought Mr. Patrick may have drunk a blue liquid by mistake. The hospital, finding it strange that she hadn’t volunteered this information earlier, called police,” said the police statement.
From there her evil plan came crashing down!
“Perhaps most shocking of all was the note she gave to the London Ambulance Service purporting to be from her husband, stating that he did not wish to be resuscitated,” Detective Inspector Tracey Miller, of London’s Metropolitan Police, said in a statement.
Unfortunately for her, that very fake note would be the nail in her own coffin! The murder klutz had misspelled the word “dignity” as “dignerty.” Alarmed by the misspelling, officers had asked Patrick to rewrite the word, to bad she didn’t have time to fetch a dictionary because she ended up spelling it wrong again!
Crazy thing about it is thats not even the worse part! The couple’s 21-year-old daughter was also apart of the death plot gone wrong! Texts exchanged between the pair, which included “I got the stuff I will give him some later delete txt tell no one ok,” and “He feels sick again I gave him more delete this,”gave police the smoking gun in the case. We guess they were too stupid to remember how to delete texts as well.
Jacqueline has since been sentenced to 15 years in prison and her daughter got three years…yikes! Moral of the story; stay in school!
