‘Family Matters’ Actor Darius McCrary Accused Of Dislocating His 2-Year-Old Daughter’s Arm

Darius McCrary, who’s best known for playing Eddie Winslow in “Family Matters,” is being accused of dislocating his 2-year-old daughter’s arm.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the actor’s ex-wife Tammy Brawner is alleging that McCrary “partially dislocated our daughter’s arm” in March 2018. She says he grabbed their daughter Zoey’s arm to pull her into the bathroom and she “cried when attempting to move the arm” afterwards. Brawner claims their child needed to get a medical procedure done as a result of the incident.

However, the 42-year-old actor denies these allegations. In legal documents, he says he “grabbed one hand to lift her up and immediately grabbed the other.”

The little girl was ultimately diagnosed with nursemaid’s elbow, which is reportedly a common childhood injury that happens when a ligament slips out of place after an elbow is pulled.

In legal documents, Brawner also says that the 42-year-old actor isn’t following their court-ordered custody agreement and she can’t co-parent alone.

“I cannot co-parent by myself,” Brawner said. “I have gone above and beyond to parent with Mr. McCrary but he appears to be too bitter and too much of a tyrant to parent with me.”

She also claimed that McCrary went on a radio show and “stated that I have been telling and coaching our 2-year old daughter to lie and say that ‘dada hurt her.’”

According to a doctor’s report, Zoey was in pain but handled her elbow procedure well.
