FBI Bulletin Warns Citizens Of Armed Protests Being Planned At All 50 State Capitols During Inauguration Week

Roommates, just when it seems like things were calming down after the riots at the U.S. Capitol last week, the FBI has announced some interesting information. According to ABC News, the FBI has received information indicating that “armed protests” are being planned at all 50 state capitols—including the U.S. Capitol in Washington, DC, just days leading up to President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration on January 20.

In an internal bulletin obtained by ABC News, it states, “Armed protests are being planned at all 50 state capitols from January 16th through at least January 20th, and at the U.S. Capitol from January 17th through January  20th.”

The bulletin, which started circulating after rioters stormed the U.S. Capitol last week, states, “On January 8th, the FBI received information on an identified group calling for others to join them in ‘storming’ state, local and federal government courthouses and administrative buildings in the event POTUS is removed as President before Inauguration Day. This identified group is also planning to ‘storm’ government offices including in the District of Columbia and every state, regardless of whether the states certified electoral votes for Biden or Trump, on January 20th.”

The bulletin also suggested there would be threats of an insurrection if President Trump is removed via the 25th Amendment before Inauguration Day. According to the bulletin, the FBI is currently tracking reports of “various threats to harm President-Elect Biden, Vice President-elect Kamala Harris, and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.”

Law enforcement sources told ABC News that federal law enforcement officials had advised police agencies to increase their security in preparation at statehouses around the country.
