Fetty Wap Apparently Gives Rare Photo Update From Prison

Recently, an account named SAY CHEESE dropped some new pics of Fetty Wap on X (formerly Twitter) as he remains in prison. The photos show the New Jersey emcee posted up in a fresh white tee and matching pants. Fetty even rocks a watch and some glasses in one of the shots. His signature locs are shorter now, hitting him about neck-length and way darker than before. Furthermore, he is expected to be released in February 2027.

More Details About Fetty’s Arrest & Charges

The FBI arrested Fetty Wap at Rolling Loud New York in 2022. Police said he played a role in a drug trafficking ring, moving cocaine, heroin, and fentanyl across Long Island and New Jersey.

By May 2023, Fetty received a six-year prison sentence. Amid his ongoing legal issues, he made sure to show love to his fans. In a clip shared by HipHopDX, he thanked everyone who stood by him and kept the support coming.

I just want to thank all the fans. You feel me? All the fans showing me love, sending all the reels and the stories and everything and all the tags, photos, and everything like that you heard, Fetty said in the video.

Fetty’s Sister Divinity Maxwell-Butts Pleads For His Pardon From Prison

While Fetty continues to serve his time, his sister Divinity Maxwell-Butts has stepped up and started pushing for a pardon. Back in April, she seemingly shared a lengthy message from Fetty’s official Instagram page. She posted a screenshot of a VIBE article highlighting April as Second Chance Month and made it clear she believes her brother deserves a pardon, especially since he had already served more than half his sentence at the time.

April is Second Chance Montha time to recognize that people deserve redemption, not just punishment. My brother has taken responsibility and served over half his sentence for a nonviolent offense. He is scheduled to be released in 2027, but justice should also mean mercy. His sentence should be commuted so he can come home to his family, his children, and his purpose. Its time. #PardonFetty #SecondChanceMonth #BringHimHome Divinity Maxwell-Butts, the message stated.
