Florida Man Arrested After Abandoning His Son On The Highway Because He Suspected He Was Gay

There are certain headlines you have to read a few times because they are so unbelievable. Such is the case involving a Florida father who left his young son on a local highway because he suspected that he was gay.

30-year-old Evenaud Julmeus from Haines City, Florida is officially facing a host of charges after leaving his son alone on Highway 27 following his discovery that the boy had been watching gay porn. As reported by @TheGrio, the charges include three counts of negligent child abuse without bodily harm and two counts stemming from Julmeus allegedly leaving two other minors home alone while he drove his son near the Haines City Police Department and left him on the side of the highway.

Julmeus reportedly told his son, “Police will find you a new home” once he left him alone on the highway. Local police reportedly found the young boy crying on Highway 27—and upon asking him what happened, he explained that he was put out of the car by his father because he got caught “watching male pornography on his cell phone.” Julmeus and his son then got into a heated argument and he allegedly told him to pack a bag and get in the car.

Police also noted that when they found the boy, he was without food, water, money or a phone to call someone for help. Thankfully, the boy’s mother immediately went to bring the boy home when Julmeus returned to the family house without him and told her where he left the boy. Due to him being a minor, the boy’s age has not been released.

We’re just happy to know that the boy was found unharmed.
