Florida Woman Discovers Almost A Billion Dollars In Checking Account–Says She’s Having Trouble Returning It

According to Daily Mail, a Florida woman received almost a billion dollars in her bank account and is having trouble giving it back.

Reports state that Julia Yonkowski went to withdraw $20 from her local Chase Bank. Before attempting the withdrawal, she checked her balance and realized she had racks, on racks, on racks to the sum of a billion dollars. Someone apparently deposited $999,985,855.94 to her account.

While most people would’ve probably been excited, Julia stated she was horrified. “Oh my God, I was horrified. I know most people would think they won the lottery but I was horrified,” she said.

Julia is adamant that she doesn’t want to have to repay the money because it’s not hers. “I know I’ve read stories about people that took the money or took out money, and then they had to repay it and I wouldn’t do that anyway because it’s not my money,” she said.

She also stated that since having the money deposited into her account, she’s tried to contact the branch to return the money but hasn’t received any help.

“I just can’t get through. I get tied up with their automated system and I can’t get a person,” she said.

It’s unclear what caused Julia to become a billionaire, but Julia hopes to have the money removed as soon as possible.

Roomies, what would y’all do in this situation?
