Footage has surfaced of a prison riot breaking out while Tory Lanez attempted to record music on a video call. Additionally, details have been reported about Megan Thee Stallion allegedly involving Tory Lanez in additional legal action.

Prison Riot Breaks Out As Tory Lanez Attempts To Record Music While On Video Call

On Monday, February 24, TMZ published the exclusive footage obtained of Lanez behind bars. In the clip, Lanez is seen recording. a verse while on a video call. Per the outlet, the verse is reportedly for his upcoming album.

“I can’t say I’m the same from last year/ You can see the pain inside my eyes and I can’t mask it… $500 on a Zelle will make ’em do gymnastics/ Seen that n***a run up to the yard and he got backflipped/ Cried in the cell so many nights, I got trapped in,” Tory Lanez appears to rap.

At that point, Lanez turns his back to the camera as yelling unfolds. After a few seconds, Lanez gets up from his seat and walks off-camera, seemingly trying to assess what’s happening. After a few more seconds, Lanez returns to the camera with a message.

To note, last week, a video was shared on Lanez’s Instagram account, confirming his plans to drop an album from behind bars seemingly within the next three weeks.

Meanwhile, Megan Thee Stallion Is Reportedly Invovling Tory Lanez In Additional Legal Action For Her Defamation Case

As The Shade Room previously reported, in December 2024, Megan Thee Stallion requested a restraining order against Tory Lanez, claiming he was committing defamation against her from behind bars. Additionally, Meg claimed Lanez paid blogger Elizabeth Milagro Cooper to spread defamatory statements about her online.

“Even now… Despite being sentenced to 10 years in prison for shooting Ms. Pete, Mr. Peterson continues to subject her to repeated trauma and revictimization,” her petition reportedly read, per Page Six.

Although Lanez denied the allegations, Megan Thee Stallion was ultimately awarded a five-year restraining order against the rapper in January. According to TMZ, Megan is now hoping to depose Lanez and question him about his “alleged online campaign to spread misinformation” about her. However, Lanez’s a member of Lanez’s legal team has reportedly reacted to Meg’s deposition, asserting that Lanez hasn’t agreed and isn’t “obligated” to answer any deposition on the matter.
