Myracle Holloway and her boyfriend JaMarr “Stitch” Nance have a love story that runs so deep, she gave him a kidney. Myracle tells us the story of how it all happened. “I have a love story I gave my kidney to my boyfriend. He was at 12%, then went down to an 8%, then had to go on dialysis. I met him over the phone through a mutual friend of ours named, Mark Bush while I was on S17 of “The Voice.” Stitch is a fashion designer so we were connecting so he could help me with my wardrobe. I was in L.A. at the time and Stitch was in Chicago.”
Myracle continued, adding “After we hung up the phone I started crying because I could feel Stitch’s pain and hurt, still not knowing this brotha needed a kidney. When I talked to Stitch on the phone again another day, he asked me what my “Why” was for singing. I gave him an answer that moved him so much that he flew me to Chicago, paid for my hotel and helped with my wardrobe. After our last phone convo b4 flying out there, I immediately heard God internally say, I’m supposed to do something for him.
Then when I got to Chicago he tells me about his kidney. I was like that’s what I’m supposed to do, give him my kidney after I finish on the show “The Voice.” We weren’t together yet, but our friendship turned into a love relationship. I told him I would still give him my kidney even if we didn’t work out because I have to be obedient to what God is telling me. When I say everybody from my friends to family thought I was insane. But I tuned them out. 8months of testing like blood work, every test under the sun and I was a good match for him. Only God could’ve done this.”
Myracle gave us an update and revealed the happy news that Stitch just proposed and the couple is officially getting married tomorrow at UIC Hospital in Chicago. Congrats!
