Former White House Adviser Kellyanne Conway Also Tests Positive For COVID-19

COVID-19 has impacted the White House, once again. Not only has Donald and Melania Trump tested positive for COVID-19, but former White House counselor Kellyanne Conway has also tested positive for the infection, after attending the Rose Garden event.

On Friday, Conway shared her diagnosis on Twitter, “Tonight I tested positive for COVID-19. My symptoms are mild (light cough) and I’m feeling fine. I have begun a quarantine process in consultation with physicians,” she expressed. “As always, my heart is with everyone affected by this global pandemic.”

Conway is now the fifth person who attended the event to test positive for the infection.

President Donald Trump, first lady Melania Trump, Republican Utah Sen. Mike Lee, Republican North Carolina Sen. Thom Tillis and University of Dame President the Rev. John Jenkins are all confirmed to be positive for Covid-19, CNN reports.

As previously reported, Trump has now been transferred to Walter Reed Hospital and is now receiving an experimental drug.

“The big news there is that he got an experimental drug. He got a drug not approved by the FDA,” said Reiner, who has treated former Vice President Dick Cheney.

Trump stated,

“I want to thank everybody for the tremendous support. I’m going to Walter Reed Hospital. I think I’m doing very well. We’re going to make sure that things work out. The first lady is doing very well. So thank you very much, I appreciate it. I will never forget it. Thank you,” he said.

We’ll keep you updated, Roomies.
