Fredo Bang Says Seeing Women In Bonnets Is A “Big Turn On”

Bonnets have become an integral part of Black culture, Roomies, especially in a time where Black women are embracing the versatility of their hair more than ever before! Recently, people on the internet have been debating whether or not the protective hair pieces should be worn outside and Fredo Bang said he has no objections!

A viral photo of women sporting bonnets in an airport sparked the conversation about the appropriate places bonnets should be worn and people seem to be split on the debate! Some folks said bonnets should only be worn in the house, and others said Black women should feel free to wear them whenever they want.

Rapper Fredo Bang made his stance clear in a lengthy tweet about women’s self esteem.

“I feel like when a female step out in her bonnet she completely comfortable with herself,” he wrote. “She don’t have to have makeup and be dressed head to shoulders every second of her life cause she know she the baddest. #Selfesteem is a big turn on.”

Fredo’s message seemed to be coming from a good place, but some of the ladies reading it didn’t quite agree with his sentiments. A few ladies commented to let Fredo know that wearing bonnets outside of the house of absolutely out of pocket!

“Nah…you just don’t leave your house looking like you rolled out the bed,” one woman commented. “Idc how comfortable you are with yourself…that’s just tacky to me.”

“Listen I’m still not walking outside with my bonnet on…it gives lazy and unprepared,” another woman wrote.
