#Roommates, as many are still processing the heartbreaking news surrounding the senseless murder of 21-year-old Destiny Harrison, her case has gone viral and caught national attention. Gervonta Davis is one person who was so touched by her story that he wants to help out in a big way.
As Baltimore authorities are still investigating the murder of Destiny Harrison, who was fatally shot in the head while inside her salon Madam D Beauty Bar, her family and friends are continuing to grieve such a sudden and tragic loss.
In a recent interview, it was revealed that Destiny’s family has set up an official GoFundMe page to both assist her young daughter and to help pay for the expenses of her funeral. Gervonta Davis, a Baltimore native, got wind of the case and publicly stated that he would like to pay for Destiny’s funeral himself.
Gervonta posted the following message to his Twitter page:
“Smh! I’m just hearing about this sadness…Prayers and love to her family. If I can do anything like pay for the funeral or anything like that…Reach out!”
As we previously reported, Destiny Harrison was fatally shot on December 21st while inside her beauty salon located in the McElderry Park neighborhood of Southeast Baltimore. Authorities say they responded to a call at the scene just after 6PM.
Once they arrived, Baltimore police officers reportedly found Harrison suffering from gunshot wounds to the head inside the Madam D Beauty Bar. She was then rushed to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead at the scene.
