Gervonta Davis Ordered To Stay Away From His Baby Mama, Dretta Smothers

Roommates, Gervonta Davis has been ordered to stay away from his baby mama, Andretta Smothers, a.k.a Dretta, until the outcome of his criminal case has been decided.

According to The Bast, “Davis has been warned to stay away from the mother of his child and have no contact with her until the outcome of the criminal case.”

As we reported, Gervonta was seen aggressively dragging Dretta out of a basketball game, during Super Bowl LIV weekend. After the incident went viral, the professional boxer took to IG and released a statement. He denied hitting Dretta but did admit that he was a bit aggressive, but he absolutely loves the mother of his child.

He stated, “I never once hit her..yea I was aggressive and told her come on..that’s the mother of my child…I would never hurt her other than that happy new years..January was trash.”

Unfortunately his statement wasn’t enough to stop the police from interjecting. On Tuesday, the professional boxer turned himself in to the Coral Gables, Florida police, after the video circulated.

Also according to The Blast, the police obtained surveillance that shows the boxer allegedly hitting his baby mama in the face. “Officers obtained surveillance footage that allegedly shows Davis striking his baby mama in the face. The video reportedly shows Davis dragging her to another room with his hand close to her throat.”

The 25-year-old received a simple battery/ domestic violence charge.

The boxer is no stranger to controversy. He has been in court with Dretta before. Just last year, she sued him for child support, asking for $10,000 per month, as a stay-at-home mom.

In August of 2019, things got real tense between him and his ex Ari Fletcher. She took to IG and stated, “Can any pages that have any pictures of me and Gervonta remove everything please? Anything that has my name attached to his please remove me from it. He was a mistake.”

This is just too much…too much!
