Gisele Bndchen is wishing her ex-husband Tom Brady well after he announced he would be retiring from the NFL on Wednesday.
The 42-year-old model took to Brady’s Instagram comments on Wednesday to share her well wishes.
Wishing you only wonderful things in this new chapter of your life.
Brady and Bndchen share two children and finalized their divorce last year, as previously reported by The Shade Room. The pair were married for over 13 years. And it has been speculated that Brady’s initial decision not to retire from the NFL contributed to the downfall of their marriage.
A source close to Bndchen shared more insight regarding the model’s reaction to her ex-husband’s retirement, as reported by PEOPLE.
Gisele moved on with her life quite a while ago and is happy about whatever Tom chooses to do with his life now.
The source added that the pair’s top priority is “the welfare and happiness of the children.” Adding that, while Bndchen “is fine” with Brady’s current decisions, she “is not involved with them.” And is “extremely busy in her career and life.” Yet, “optimistic about her future.”
Ultimately, Brady and Bndchen are both “interested in keeping life as happy and normal as possible for the kids.”

According to TMZ, Brady is moving forward with his focus set on being a dad and enjoying life in Miami.
