GloRilla Clarifies Where She Stands With JT After Beefing On Social Media (VIDEO)

The internet streets might agree that it’s been a Glo yearfrom hot music to touring and plenty of viral moments. One of those moments, though, happened when GloRilla and JT exchanged shady words on social media in April.

Glo previously declined to speak on the beef during a red-carpet interview at the CMT Awards. However, in a recent interview for Apple Music, she cleared the air on where they stand.

Are GloRilla & JT All Good?

When asked if she was surprised by any beef with other female rappers, GloRilla said she didn’t come into the industry with the intention to beef. She added, though, that she and JT “are actually cool.” She was also asked whether she thought the fans fueled the tussle. Glo agreed, saying their fanbases hyped up the mess.

“It was the fans. It was like super unnecessary, it was really fueled by the fans. And I see that with other artists, the fans always try. But I don’t really let the fans get to me like that cause I already know they want to do that.”

GloRilla said that when she peeps the fans egging on any beef, she tries her best to “steer the other way on purpose.” At this time, JT has not responded to GloRilla’s comments.

Here’s What Happened Between The Female Rappers?

For context, back in April, JT went viral on X (formerly Twitter) after sharing a message about women “sneak dissing.” Days after JT’s viral moment, GloRilla released her ‘Ehhthang Ehhthang’ project. On the track ‘Aite,’ the Memphis rapper said, “Me and JT ain’t the best of friends, but we ain’t beefin’.”

Things went left as social media began weighing in on what’s tea between the female rappers. In the comment section of a TSR Instagram post, one roomie implied that Glo slapped JT at an award show. The former City Girl quickly shut the rumors down, saying she never got slapped. JT added that GloRilla fed into the false narrative with her song about “slapping rap b*****s.”

The Memphis rapper clapped back with heat but later deleted the tweet. “H* shut yo dumb a** up and fix dem ugla** wigs I said it aint no beef h* you the one with da secret animosity,” GloRilla wrote back. From there, the women started exchanging shady insults about each other’s looks and rap careers. A few days later Glo declined to further fuel the fire at the CMT Awards.
