Gloss Up’s team is speaking out after the rapper shared an emotional update with fans following her survival of a fatal car accident. Gloss told fans that she nearly lost her life and thought she might lose her foot, but her management team has cleared things up and shared an update on her current condition.
On Sunday, July 12, Gloss Up took to her Instagram Story to share photos from what appeared to be a hospital room. She captioned one of the posts,“I Almost Lost My Life. I’m So Saddddddd.” She later shared another message, revealing that she had never experienced a car accident before and believed doctors were going to amputate her foot just before her birthday. “I Have Never In My Life Been In A Car Accident Until Now. My Whole Foot Amputated! I’m SAD ASFFFF! It’s My Birthdayyyyy.”As fans flooded her comments with prayers and well wishes, Gloss Up’s management team stepped in to share an update. They clarified that she misunderstood her condition and mistakenly believed doctors had already amputated her foot.
Shortly after Gloss Up shared the message on her IG Story, her management team came through to clarify her status. In a separate post, they revealed that she did suffer a severe foot injury and said her medical team was doing everything possible to save it. They explained that Gloss Up was under medication when she shared her messages and believed that doctors had already amputated her foot. “To clarify: her foot has NOT been amputated. She is actively in surgery, and doctors are actively working to save and treat it.”Gloss’ team also asked fans to continue showing support and to keep her in their thoughts and prayers as recovers.“She needs all the support she can get right now. Please keep her in your thoughts and send your strongest prayers for her recovery and her medical team.”
After Gloss Up’s team cleared things up, fans filled The Shade Room’s comment section with prayers and well wishes for a speedy recovery.
