Whew, Roomies! Halle Bailey has given a lil’ glimpse into how she’s feeling after DDG claimed they’ve been going back and forth about him seeing their son, Halo.
If you’ve been keeping up, you know she has kept it cute and quiet as DDG has been airing out all his issues with her during recent streams. He even explained why he’s avoiding the court route over Halo’s visitation. But now, Halle has stepped in with a message, letting her fans know she’s in a good place mentally.
The singer and actress hopped on X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday, March 12, sharing a selfie, which sees her posing with headphones and a pair of glasses. Halle simply captioned the pic, “because im happyyy
Right now, no one knows if Halle’s message was a lowkey jab at DDG, but she is giving very much peaceful vibes in the photo.
Halle’s return to social media comes after she said she was taking a break, letting everyone know she and Halo were down badly with RSV. She posted a video on Snapchat explaining she’s been away because both of them were extremely sick.
Me and Halo are very sick. We have RSV and we do not feel good at all. So sorry, I havent been posting Snaps, but Ive just been using all my energy to take care of my baby and myself, Halle explained.
Halle’s “happy selfie” comes right after DDG shared his reasons for avoiding court with her over Halo’s visitation. In his live stream, he told everyone he knows that taking Halle to court would just make her “unhappy.”
And then the judge be like, Oh n***a we see you a great a** dad, we never see this with Black folks.’ This is a rarity. Give this n***a the whole summer, now what? We dont need that when we could just be like, Alright cool, everything smooth, everything cool. Thats the reason why I dont want to go to court. It is what it is man, the rapper explained.
Additionally, DDG also broke down what happened one time when he tried to see Halo. He said him and Halle don’t speak, but they talk through a family member when it comes to their son. DDG alleged that he received a text saying Halo was sick and was told to come see him. When he showed up, he planned to kick it with him away from Halle, but things to took a turn when he was purportedly asked to leave.
I said Im not gonna take him out the crib. Im just gonna pull up and take him downstairs, and then you can stay upstairs and let me just bond with him for at least a hour, two hours. But I was told to get out. I just didnt understand it, and I just got frustrated, he said.
