Halle Berry had something to say after Zendaya paid homage to the ‘Die Another Day’ star’s look. The 30-year-old actress attended the 2026 Emmy Awards on Monday, Sept. 14, and honored Berry by recreating her look from the 2002 premiere of the 007 film.
Academy Award-winning actress Halle Berry is well known as the first Black actress to win “Best Actress” at the Oscars. Berry won the statue at the 74th Academy Awards for her role in the 2001 film ‘Monster’s Ball.’ However, the star is just as well-known for her signature pixie cut, and Zendaya nailed Berry’s cut at the 2026 Emmy Awards.
In 2002, Berry rocked her pixie cut in a Collette Dinnigan sequined dress at the ‘Die Another Day’ premiere. Per PEOPLE, Zendaya copied her look at the recent Emmys.
Zendaya was dressed by longtime stylist Law Roach, who put the actress in a sequined Prada gown. Roach also told PEOPLE that Zendaya’s hair was inspired by Berry’s signature pixie.

After Berry’s reaction was shared on TSR’s Instagram page, Roomies also weighed in on the ‘Dune’ star’s Emmys’ look.

Other fans noted that Zendaya should have won an Emmy at the 2026 Awards. The actress was nominated as Lead Actress in a Drama Series for HBO’s ‘Euphoria.’ She won the award in 2020 and 2022 for her role as Rue in the drama.
@prettymiawill wrote, “My girl deserved an Emmy for that performance on Euphoria period.”
User @thesaphirose also had an idea. “She better play a Halle in her biopic !!!”
“There’s a an actress that I love with every fiber of my being. I love her and I would love to play her mother,” said Berry before adding, “Zendaya!”
