Congrats! ‘Handmaid’s Tale’ Star Elisabeth Moss Is Pregnant

Elisabeth Moss hooked fans of ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ with her fierce fight to rescue her daughters. But guess what? Moss revealed on Tuesday that she’s going to be a first-time mommy!

She joined Jimmy Kimmel on his late-night show on Tuesday (Jan. 30) and revealed the life update! The Emmy winner confirmed that she was expecting but also joked that she was 50/50 method acting.

Kimmel asked her how she felt, and the ‘Handmaid’s Tale’ star replied, “Not bad.”

“I’ve been really lucky. It’s been really well,” Elisabeth said.

The 41-year-old then asked Jimmy, a dad of four, for advice on buying baby items and what to bring to the delivery room. Kimmel leaned on advice his wife got from actor Bill Murray. He suggested she bring Christmas lights, music, and battery-powered candles.”

It’s unclear when she’s due to give birth. The actress filed for divorce from ‘Saturday Night Live’ comedian Fred Armisen in 2010, about eight months after they wed, per PEOPLE.

What’s The Update With Elisabeth Moss And ‘Handmaid’s Tale’?

While Moss spends the springtime baking her lil’ bun, she’ll be on set this summer. ‘Handmaid’s Tale’ fans can breathe easy as Moss shared that season six filming will begin then. Despite the spill, she kept filming dates under wrap. As for the final product, Elisabeth said it likely won’t be here until 2025.

Her previous work in the series has earned her two Emmy awards and six nominations. She won in 2017 in the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series and Outstanding Drama Series.

In the meantime, fans can expect to see the ‘Handmaid’s Tale’ star do her thing in Hulu’s ‘The Veil,’ coming this April.
