Ice Cube Signs With Interscope Records

After a nearly 3-year hiatus from the music biz, Ice Cube is getting back in the game. Word is the Hollywood film producer and actor has signed a deal with Interscope Records.

The first project will be a 25th anniversary edition of his second solo album, “Death Certificate,” featuring 3 new songs. The re-release is expected to drop next month on June 9.
“It’s cool now to have dough from the ‘big boys’ to get some of these new ideas out to the public,” Cube told Variety. “New records, new compilations and all these ideas that we can build over at Interscope.”
While the terms of the deal were not disclosed, the rapper said that it “makes sense for a lot of reasons.”
