According to the incident report, Quan whose real name is Dequantes Lamar was initially found on the floor in the kitchen of his home on September 5 around 3 a.m. by his brother, Andre Munford.

Around 6:45 a.m., Lamar’s girlfriend, Amber Williams, woke up and saw Lamar “asleep on the sofa.”

“When she came back from dropping the kids off at school, she saw that he was still sleeping,” the report reads. “She then proceeded to the bedroom and fell asleep.”

Around 11:00 a.m., Williams reawoke and observed Lamar’s body to be “cold” and subsequently called 911. A responding officer noted that Lamar “did not appear to be alert, conscious, or breathing.”

Ultimately, Lamar was transferred to Grady Hospital and pronounced deceased.
